Aquila Game Reserve Map and Directions:
Follow the N1 highway from Cape Town for approximately 130km. The road will take you pass Paarl, through the Huguenot toll road, passed Worcester, De Doorns and through the Hex River Valley. Approximately 30 km after De Doorns and just passed the road sign indicating “10km to Touws River” , you will get to the R46 turnoff to Ceres. Take the turnoff to the left. Follow the road for approximately 3km. You will find the Aquila Private Game Reserve main entrance on your left hand side.
Aquila Morning Safari Full Day Tour
Arrive at the reserve at 9, breakfast, then the 2 to 3 hour safari. The safari is led by an experienced guide who will share exciting inside stories: facts about your surroundings, easily rousing your inner wild side. Followed by lunch and time at leisure to explore the rest of the facilities. The program includes a welcome drink, a scrumptious buffet breakfast, 2 to 3 hour game drive led by an experienced guide who will share exciting inside stories: facts about your surroundings, easily rousing your inner wild side, then a leisurely lunch, after which you may choose to add on a spa treatment, horseback or quad bike safari.
If you have chosen to use our scheduled transfers, the transfer leaves Aquila at 16h00.
Morning Safari Full Day Tour
- 06h45: Depart Cape Town to Aquila (Scheduled transfer - Aquila transport. Discuss pick up place with your booking agent. Or drive yourself to Aquila)
- 09h00: Welcome drink served on arrival
- After lunch, time at leisure:

Arrival at 12h30, Welcome drinks, buffet lunch, 2hr to 3hr game drive and visit to ARC (Aquila Rescue and Conservation Centre - Optional), enjoy our premises with time at leisure, depart for Cape Town at 16h30.
Inclusions:
Transfer from one of our pick up points in Cape Town,welcome drink, a buffet lunch and a game drive of 2 to 3 hours.
Exclusions:
Drinks and all other services/items not specified.
Departure Point
The Aquila Cape Town safari trip is offered with or without transport to the reserve. Guests will be collected from their hotel or guesthouse in Cape Town and transferred to Aquila Game Reserve.
Transfers are scheduled and at an additional cost. Private Transfers can also be quoted for.

Aquila Private Game Reserve does pickups from Camps Bay towards Cape Town, city centre and then along designated pick up points along the N1. If you looking to do the transport included option, please let me know where you are staying or if you are not staying on the route, I can then give you the nearest pick up point
